Privacy Notice for Patients

What your nursing home records about you in AuraScale, why, and your rights.

Last updated: 9 October 2026

1Who this notice is for

Your nursing home or clinic uses AuraScale OS software to register you, manage your bed and bill you. Your nursing home decides how your information is used (it is the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023); AuraScale only stores and processes it for them.

2What is recorded and why

3WhatsApp messages

You will get one message asking whether you agree to receive your registration details, bills, payment links and reports on WhatsApp. Nothing else is sent unless you tap “Yes”. Tap “No”, or tell reception at any time, to stop messages. Saying No does not affect your treatment.

4Who sees it

Staff of your nursing home who need it for your care and billing, and the service providers that store data and deliver messages for AuraScale (listed in our Privacy Policy). Your information is never sold or used for advertising.

5How long it is kept

Your nursing home keeps medical and billing records for as long as the law requires (usually several years). After that, they can be deleted on request.

6Your rights

Ask at the reception desk of your nursing home; they will reply within 90 days at most, usually much sooner. If you cannot reach them, write to AuraScale and we will pass your request to them within 2 working days.
